The pilot for Mr. Robot, USA’s upcoming summer thriller about a vigilante hacker, is here — nearly a full month ahead of its June 24 television debut.

In what the network calls “one of the broadest-reaching pre-linear distribution plans in cable television history,” the show’s debut episode will be streaming on, as well as other select outlets from May 27 through June 24.

“It is more important than ever to push boundaries in order to break through the clutter and reach new audiences,” USA Network President Chris McCumber said in a press release regarding the show’s distribution strategy.

The network is hoping that good word-of-mouth will drive viewership to the series once it makes its official launch on the cable network.

Mr. Robot stars Rami Malek as Elliot, a cybersecurity expert by day and vigilante hacker by night, and Christian Slater as the head of an underground hacking group (called Mr. Robot) that recruits Malek to help take down a massive conglomerate.
