David Letterman’s last ever Late Show doesn’t air until 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS, but that doesn’t mean long-time viewers can’t get a head start on saying goodbye. CBS released Letterman’s final Late Show entrance on Wednesday evening, teasing how Letterman takes the stage for the last time. Spoiler: The camera lingers on the painted New York City backdrop as the venerable host sprints in and out of the frame. (He’s a surprisingly spry 68.) Then, Letterman strolls out to greet band leader Paul Shaffer and the adoring crowd. Sigh: It’s really almost over.
