The second part of Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce aired on Monday night, showing the aftermath of what happened when Bruce Jenner told family members that he was transgender. (Jenner, who has not indicated a preference for female pronouns, came out publicly during an interview with Diane Sawyer in April.)

While the episode included moments for all of the Kardashian-Jenner children — Kourtney Kardashian revealed she didn’t want her 5-year-old son Mason to know about Jenner’s transition just yet — a big storyline involved how Kris Jenner reacted to Bruce’s news.

“I always knew you struggled with wanting to dress differently and wanting to dress as a female, and that was something you did whenever you got that urge,” Kris said (via Us Weekly). “That’s the only thing I experienced with you, Bruce, and I don’t know when you went from this isn’t working for me anymore and I’m going to go all the way and I’m going to start taking hormones.'”

After Bruce explained that telling his ex-wife was the hardest part of the transition, Kris said it was because he had lied to her for so many years. Later, however, she admitted that it wasn’t her fight.

“I just want you to know that you were a great dad, you were a great friend, and you were a great partner. At the end of the day it’s not about my feelings, it’s about you, and I just want you to be happy,” Kris said.
