He’s second to none, and he will perform on David Letterman’s second-to-last show.

Bob Dylan has been confirmed as the musical guest on Tuesday’s installment of the Late Show with David Letterman.

This marks the revered singer-songwriter’s first Late Show appearance in more than two decades. He’ll be in good company that night, as Bill Murray is serving as the show’s featured guest. Tom Hanks and Eddie Vedder help Letterman kick off his final three-night goodbye on Monday. Details of the final installment of Late Show on Wednesday, however, are being kept under the most secretive of wraps.
