Syfy has big plans for the summer. Just a month after announcing a new trivia series hosted by Comic-Con favorite Zachary Levi, the network has greenlit Reactor, a new genre-focused show hosted by comedian and podcaster David Huntsberger. The show is a hybrid talk/sketch series that promises to feature a mixture of exclusive clips, celebrity guests, and comedy bits, all of it focused on the intersection of science fiction and pop culture in contemporary movies, TV shows, and comic books.

You can watch Huntsberger’s announcement video above. Reactor is currently slated for a 12-episode first season, filmed in front of a studio audience. The show premieres at 11:30 PM on Thursday, July 16. Levi’s Geeks Who Drink premieres the same night at 11:00. Together, the two shows will form a late-night programming block for the genre-focused network.
