In addition to the cancellations of The Following, Backstrom and The Mindy Project, short-lived freshman comedy Weird Loners has been axed too, EW has learned.

Fall series Mulaney, Red Band Society and Utopia are also now officially canceled (Fox refused to confirm their fates for months).

The news of Weird Loners’ demise comes as no surprise. The Becki Newton and Zachary Knighton-starring comedy debuted to an anemic 1.8 million viewers and an 0.8 in the 18-49 demographic, making it the season’s lowest rated show on a major broadcast newtork.

While WB is said to be shopping The Following elsewhere and The Mindy Project will likely end up at Hulu, the rest of the series given the axe truly are dead. See what else has been canceled here.

The news follows Fox betting big on male-fronted comedies, giving series orders to John Stamos’ Grandfathered, Rob Lowe’s The Grinder, and Jack Cutmore-Scott’s The Guide to Surviving Life. Medical drama Rosewood, starring Morris Chestnut, the Rob Kazinsky-starring Frankenstein Code, the Minority Report adaptation and DC Comics’ Lucifer were also ordered to series.
