Fact: The best music videos are ones that depict exactly what the artist sings about. Another fact: They’re enhanced when there are multiple versions of the artist appearing in the same frame. Enter Willow Smith and her co-directed video for “F Q-C #7.” (It’s pronounced “Frequency Number Seven,” per The FADER.) The song premiered a few weeks ago on Tidal, but now the whole world can be blessed with Smith’s idiosyncrasy, overalls, 2pac shirt, and four selves.

Regarding the four Willows, she told The FADER, “The different Me’s represent my Chakras. Yellow is Self-confidence, Blue is my voice (song), Red is my survival instinct, and the Black is a combination of everything (the true me).” Also, she took inspiration Girlpool, tUnE-yArDs, and Cree Summer in composing the track herself.
