Sony’s foray into original programming for the PlayStation seems to be a success, as the company has ordered a second season of Powers.

Sony made the announcement on Wednesday that the first PlayStation Original series, based on the graphic novel of the same name, will be back for a new season sometime in 2016.

Powers debuted on the PlayStation Network, available exclusively on Sony gaming platforms, in March, and followed the lives of two homicide detectives in a world filled with superpowered humans.

The entire first season is available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, while episodes are also available for purchase on the PlayStation Store for nonsubscribers.

“We are so grateful to the PlayStation nation and fans of Powers for supporting us and making the second season a reality,” the show’s co-creator and executive producer Brian Michael Bendis said in a statement.
