Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O'Connell join WWII drama 'HHHH'
Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Mia Wasikowska and Jack Reynor are all set to star in the upcoming WWII drama HHHH, directed by Cedric Jimenez.
As originally reported by Variety, Clarke will star as Reinhard Heydrich, the Nazi mastermind believed to have created the “Final Solution.” The highest-ranking Nazi officer killed during World War II, Heydrich was assassinated in 1942 by two Czech and Slovak-born paratroopers personally chosen for the mission by Winston Churchill and Czechoslovakia president Edvard Beneš. O’Connell and Reynor will play the paratroopers, and Pike will star as Heydrich’s aristocratic wife, Lina, who is believed to have had a hand in her husband’s meteoric rise to power. Wasikowska will play a Czech resistance fighter.
Based on the novel by Laurent Binet, HHHH will be produced by Alain Goldman’s Legende Films and Simon Istolainen’s Adama Pictures, and shooting will begin in August in Prague and Budapest.
