She may not have won The Voice, but second-place finisher Juliet Simms’ career is far from over. Case in point: Her dark, heartbreaking new music video for “End of The World,” which EW is premiering exclusively. In the gritty, emotional ballad, Simms sings of heartbreak, while the video—which stars Simms’ real-life boyfriend, Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides—takes an unexpected turn.

“I wrote this song in a period of my life where I was going through a lot,” Simms says. “This song is about how circumstances in your life can come crashing down, and the pain can feel almost insurmountable. Often times, these emotions lend themselves to feeling like it’s the end of the world.”
