Tegan and Sara, Metric, Cadence Weapon, F–ked Up, Metz, Lights and other acts are slated to provide soundtrack tunes and avatars for a new arcade-style indie rock music game called LOUD on Planet X, Rolling Stone reports. Mike Haliechuk and Jonah Falco of F–ked Up, as well as Brendan Canning and Justin Peroff of Broken Social Scene, contributed original scores to the game as well.

LOUD on Planet X is set to drop this fall on various gaming platforms. According to Rolling Stone, the game “combines tower defense and tap games with some of Toronto’s best acts.” In the game, you choose one of 12 musical acts, then after completing Level 1—a performance gig in your hometown—you go through a portal to a different planet, where you defend your stage against aliens by tapping to the music, and using weapons like strobe lights and fog machines.
