She’ll keep dancin’ till the world ends. Britney Spears will extend her residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas by three months, she announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Tuesday.
Spears suffered an ankle injury while performing last week, causing her to reschedule last weekend’s shows. The pop star, whose single “Pretty Girls” with Iggy Azalea dropped Monday, rocked an ankle book while recounting her embarrassment over the injury. “I actually wasn’t doing anything that hard. I was just kind of bopping around,” Spears told DeGeneres. “I’ve done eight years worth of shows — plenty of shows! — and I’ve never actually fallen down.”
She added, “The show must go on,” before DeGeneres revealed that Spears will tack on three more months of performances in Las Vegas.
The singer will perform with Azalea at the Billboard Music Awards on May 17, and also recently secured a deal for a mobile video game that will drop next year.
