Longtime baseball fan James Taylor debuted a track about the Boston Red Sox on Sunday night at Fenway Park, where the Sox played against the New York Yankees.

Taylor wrote the music for the track, titled “Angels of Fenway,” back in 2004 after the Red Sox won the World Series—but the lyrics, featuring lines like “Angels of Fenway, hear our prayer,” didn’t come until much later. “It took me a long time to get back into the saddle of writing lyrics again,” Taylor, who hasn’t released an album of original songs since 2002’s October Road, told the Associated Press.

“Angels of Fenway” will appear on Taylor’s upcoming album, Before This World, when it arrives June 16. Listen to the song below.
