While your original Tamagotchi may be long gone—a distant but beloved memory of a portable, virtual pet from the past—a new Apple app is giving users a chance to relive those glory days.

Bandi Namco launched the Tamagotchi Classic app for iPhones and iPads earlier in April, and this week made the app available for the Apple Watch. The app evokes the original Tamagotchi devices, allowing players to interact with a virtual version of the original physical toy, along with an app mode that takes away the plastic veneer.

The Apple Watch app will then let users check and take care of their Tamagotchi pets without ever opening their phones. The Watch app, a pared-down version, still allows users to feed and answer a Tamagotchi’s call right from their wrist.

The app is now available for $0.99, and for a preview, take a look at the screens below: The first is a version of the Tamagotchi Toy Mode, and the second shows off what the Apple Watch app looks like in use.
