Michael Bay may not be directing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, but that hasn’t stopped the film’s producer from offering a few looks at how the new film is tapping the turtles’ roots, including some of the film’s new rides. His most recent surprise is an official glimpse at Arrow‘s Stephen Amell suited up as Casey Jones.

While there’s no shortage of strange characters in the TMNT universe, Casey Jones is definitely one of the more interesting human characters. A vigilante, Jones goes around wearing a hockey mask and using several pieces of sports equipment as his arsenal, including a baseball bat, hockey stick, and more.

And so Bay’s photo shows a faithful interpretation of the character in Amell’s take, as the actor’s face is entirely obscured by a mask. While he doesn’t have a golf bag full of weapons just yet, he’s already ready to fight with a hockey stick in hand.

Jones is almost always a love interest for April O’Neil, who is played by Megan Fox in the films. Jones appeared in the 1990s live-action Turtles films, played by Elias Koteas in the first and third entries.

TMNT 2 is set for a release in 2016, by which time we’ll also hopefully have glimpses at characters like Baxter Stockman, Bebop, and Rocksteady.
