Mondays are the worst—but songs like On An On’s “It’s Not Over” can catapult listeners back to carefree weekend nights. Well, almost. “It’s Not Over” is a Shins-meets-Passion Pit indie-pop jam that’s heavy on groove and smooth vocals. But the track has a forlorn sense of yearning, too. “I’m dying to get you on the dancefloor and tell you that I love you,” frontman Nate Eiesland sings. “It’s gonna go on forever.” Decide for yourself whether the song’s title stems from truth or wishful thinking.

Check out EW‘s exclusive premiere of “It’s Not Over” below and keep an eye out for On An On’s sophomore album, And The Wave Has Two Sides, which is due out July 24.
