The end is near for Mad Men, and Jason Reitman is honoring the conclusion of AMC’s drama with a live reading of a classic episode.

Film Independent and AMC have announced a combination live reading and screening on Sunday, May 17, to be held at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.

For the event, Reitman will put together a live reading of the Mad Men season 1 finale “The Wheel,” though participating actors have not yet been announced. Following the live read, the Mad Men series finale will be screened with special guests Matthew Weiner, Jon Hamm, January Jones, Elisabth Moss, John Slattery, and Kiernan Shipka in attendance.

““The kind of work that continues to inspire us…The Apartment, His Girl Friday, Glengary Glenross, Shampoo…I put Mad Men right up there with these classics, and it’s a thrill to pay tribute to Matthew Weiner as this important series comes to a close,” Reitman said in a statement about the event.

Reitman has done several of these live reads before, asking different actors to fill famous roles and put their own touch on beloved characters.

Tickets are now available for the event.
