'Tut' trailer: Ben Kingsley counsels the pharaoh

It isn’t always easy being king, as Egypt’s boy monarch Tutankhamun proves in an exclusive new trailer from Tut, an upcoming miniseries from Spike TV.

Oscar winner Ben Kingsley plays mentor to King Tut (Avan Jogia), who has some trouble getting Egypt’s support. “Who can I trust?” Tut asks Kingsley’s character, Ay, at one point. “No one,” Ay coldly replies. What follows is plenty of violence, some sex, and lots of fire. Think Game of Thrones, but with more pyramids and fewer dragons.

Tut will air over a period of three nights—July 19 to July 21—on Spike. Watch the trailer below.
