Looks like another One Direction member is ready for a change. But before you launch into another day of mourning, don’t worry—he’s not leaving the band. Louis Tomlinson is starting his own record label imprint under Simon Cowell’s Syco lablel (to which 1D is signed). While ex-mate Zayn Malik hasn’t signed with Tomlinson (yet?), Tomlinson’s currently unnamed label already has its first artist: Jack Walton, U.K. X Factor finalist.

“This is something I’ve wanted to do for some time,” Tomlinson said to The Sun. “To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling. I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line.” Tomlinson knows how to advocate for other artists’ success: According to Billboard, he and his fellow One Direction members already have a financial stake in fellow boy band 5 Seconds of Summer.
