The first trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is appropriately dark, not just in its tone or its promise of a showdown between two of the world’s most popular superheroes, but visually as well. It’s a dark trailer.

One YouTuber agreed, and thought it could use a little more color, courtesy of other famous versions of Batman and Superman.

Bobby Burns posted a parody trailer of Zack Snyder’s upcoming superhero epic, using the same ominous audio from Snyder’s trailer but with entirely new visuals. Burns culled footage from Christopher Reeve’s turn as Kal-El in the ’70s and ’80s Superman films, as well as moments from Adam West’s take on Batman in the 1960s live-action series.
