As one of the clear breakout favorites of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Dope‘s buzz started months before any members of the general public got to see it. Now that opportunity is coming, thanks to the first official trailer for Dope—which gives an idea of what people were raving about in Park City.

Dope stars up-and-comer Shameik Moore as Malcolm, a straight-A student and ’90s hip-hop geek living in Los Angeles with his bandmates Jib (Grand Budapest Hotel‘s Tony Revolori) and Diggy (Kiersey Clemons). The group runs into some trouble when they accidentally wind up with a stash of drugs and the wrong people on their trail.

Dope opens in theaters June 19.
