Some might say, “Well, music videos aren’t made like they used to be” as an indictment of the medium’s quality. But what about as a general observation of the content? Like, who grabs two pop singers to dance seductively next to other women… with feline heads? Ty Dolla Sign, that’s who.

The L.A. rapper dropped the video for his latest single Wednesday, and it’s, um, something. He cruises around Southern California streets while dropping innuendos so deprived of subtlety that it borders on The Weeknd’s or R. Kelly’s turf. DJ Mustard pops up at the end, as does Wiz Khalifa, dutifully puffing away. Shouts to guest singers Charli XCX and Tinashe for their vocal and rhythmic contributions.
