Chris Harrison named new host of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire'
Will you accept this … million dollars?
Yep, Bachelor host Chris Harrison is adding another show to his schedule when he takes over the hosting duties for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
According to a press release, Terry Crews is unable to continue on as host of the show due to his own TV and film career, and instead of replacing Crews with another probable one-season wonder, the network has decided to go with Harrison, who has successfully hosted 19 seasons of The Bachelor.
“There are few shows on television as strong and iconic as Millionaire,” Harrison said in a release. “This is a great fit and I’m extremely excited and honored to take on this new endeavor.”
Harrison will take over as host for the show’s 14th season, which will begin in the fall of 2015. It will not affect his work on The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, or other series within the Bachelor franchise.
