Maybe she’s just a really, really big Game of Thrones fan? Bai Ling set a new standard for GoT stans everywhere by donning a skirt-and-top combo decorated with a dragon head and an impressively long tail.
You read that right: Ling, 48, accessorized her black-feathered, barely-there mini skirt with a bra top embellished with a 3D dragon head and scaled tail that trailed down her back. It’s a total throwback to the fabulous swan frock that Bjork rocked at the 2001 Oscars, and the latest in a series of shocking looks the Chinese-American actress has historically worn on the red carpet. (Like this racy dress with a strategically placed red flower that she wore late last year.)
As one of the first to walk the blue carpet at the MTV Movie Awards, Ling clearly wanted to make a statement with this crazy, one-of-a-kind look. But we want to know: Who designed this dress? How can the mother of dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, top this dragon-decorated gown? And most importantly: How quickly can Jimmy Fallon turn around a parody of this eccentric ensemble?
