LeBron James shows up in new clip from Amy Schumer's 'Trainwreck'
Bill Hader’s character in the Judd Apatow and Amy Schumer joint Trainwreck seems as smooth with women as an actual train wreck. So awful, in fact, that he definitely needs a wingman to assist in making the awkward post-one-night-stand phone call an alley-oop. Enter four-time NBA MVP LeBron James!
In a clip premiered by MTV, James sits by Hader as he makes the cringe-worthy call to Schumer—although calling the cops is excessive, Vanessa Bayer. LeBron picks his spots. It’s not shown, but he probably gave Hader a pep talk beforehand, and he encourages him throughout the process. After an apparent win for the actor, James is properly stoked; no wonder hoops players love teaming up with him.
Schumer will host this Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, while her Trainwreck will hit theaters July 17.
