Indie rockers The Mountain Goats played Late Night with Seth Meyers last night to promote their new, wrestling-themed album Beat the Champ. With a horn section in tow, frontman John Darnielle played the deceptively jaunty “Foreign Object,” which features variations on the refrain “I’m gonna jab you in the eye with a foreign object, I’m gonna stab you in the eye with a foreign object.” Who ever said indie rock was wimpy?

Ad-Rock also stopped by the show for an interview where he discussed Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young and the upcoming Beastie Boys concert film Awesome, I F—in’ Shot That! He emerged with a ton of Late Night swag and a bottle of wine he stole from Game of Thrones‘ Kit Harington.
