Exclusive: The Stone Foxes perfect back-to-basics rock on 'Dying Star'
The Stone Foxes
- Music
The Stone Foxes should sound familiar—and not just because their songs have been licensed in Sons of Anarchy and commercials for BMW and Jack Daniel’s. The San Francisco band makes muscular blues rock that splits the difference between The Allman Brothers Band and The Black Keys (before they became buds with Danger Mouse). “Dying Star,” from their upcoming album 12 Spells, captures the frenetic energy of the group’s notorious live act.
Listen to EW‘s exclusive premiere of “Dying Star” below, where you’ll also find summer tour dates. 12 Spells hits shelves on August 7.
