After sustaining injuries in a plane crash earlier this month, Star Wars actor Harrison Ford has been released from the hospital, the New York Daily News reports.
Ford was hospitalized on March 5 after crashing a small plane he was piloting into a California golf course. He sustained serious injuries, which his publicist described as “non-life threatening” at the time.
According to reports, 72-year-old Ford was seen leaving UCLA Medical Center on Saturday.
Ford reported engine trouble at the time of the crash, and eyewitness Elaine Miller told ABC station KABC that the actor sustained a significant head wound.
“Dad is ok. Battered, but ok!” Ford’s son Ben tweeted on the day of the crash. He has since deleted the tweet.
This wasn’t Ford’s first flying accident. In 1999, he made a hard emergency landing in California while flying a helicopter, and the next year, he reportedly slid off the runway while landing a plane in Nebraska.
