If you grew up in the 90s (read: if you took a Buzzfeed quiz to determine you grew up in the 90s), The Sandlot was likely viewed one or two dozen times—with good reason.

You’re also likely very familiar with one of the many quotable scenes has the crew killing Smalls—which he was oft-charged of doing to the group—for losing a baseball signed by legendary MLB slugger Babe Ruth, the man with nearly as many nicknames as career home runs. Opening Day is nigh, with spring training wrapping up. So the New York Yankees decided to produce a video with players reenacting that scene with less acting chops than the original kids. Brett Gardner starred as the tortured main character, while Jacoby Ellsbury and Brian McCann were solid as Squints and Ham, respectively. Manager Joe Girardi is unfortunately not depicted as the Dennis Leary character, Smalls’ stepdad.
