On Tuesday, Los Angeles-based indie-folk outfit Lord Huron released a video for “Fool for Love”—a sepia-toned track with a wonderful hum. Our man, besotted with a certain Lily, heads to the local watering hole on the hunt. He’s heard there’s another man after Lily’s heart, and that just ain’t right. Problem is, the man he spots with a similar tattoo to his (her name in a delicate scrawl on their arms), is way, way, bigger than him. God bless Lily, she’s worth it, though.

Things get ugly after the he riles up the gang to throw the first punch: Bottles are cracked, he’s thrown out in the trash, and suddenly we’re running through the darkened streets.

Stream the punchy (pun!) video, written and produced by the band, and directed by Arms Race, below.

Lord Huron will release its sophomore album, Strange Trails, a follow-up to 2012’s Lonesome Dreams, on April 7. They’ll head out on tour April 16.
