Meet the latest group of wistful John Green youngsters to hit the big screen in the first trailer for Paper Towns.

Almost half of the trailer is spent on the setup: Margo (Cara Delevingne) and Quentin’s (Nat Wolff) night of revenge involving spray paint, Saran wrap, and fish, before Margo goes missing, leaving a trail of clues in her wake. “Margo always loved mysteries,” Quentin narrates. “Maybe she loved them so much, she became one.” Those words are essentially ripped from the book, and like the film version of The Fault in Our Stars, the trailer makes Paper Towns look like a faithful adaptation of John Green’s work. (Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber also adapted this one.)

While Wolff is a TFIOS veteran—and Paper Towns is a lot less of a tear jerker than that earlier movie—the British Delevingne, best known in the fashion world, takes on one of her first major film roles here, showing off her American accent.

The movie is due out July 24.
