The final chapter of The Hunger Games is still months away, but audiences who see Insurgent in the theater this weekend will get their first taste of Mockingjay Part 2. Just as for the previous sequels, a burning mockingjay pin lights the spark in the new Hunger Games franchise logo, “Remember,” which mimics Katniss’s evolution from brave symbol to fierce revolutionary.

In the final stage of the mockingjay’s transformation, the bird powerfully flaps its wings to take flight, smashing the framework that had been its foundation while pivotal quotes from the first three films echo in the darkness. “Remember who the real enemy is,” advises Haymitch. “Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol,” rallies Katniss.

The Lionsgate film, directed by Francis Lawrence, opens on Nov. 20, but as the message on the new teaser poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 says below, “the fire will burn forever.” Cue the mockingjay whistle.
