James Bond 'Spectre' poster channels Archer's turtleneck
It’s James Bond in a tactleneck!
The new poster for the 24th Bond outing, Spectre, has the master spy ditching the tuxedo for a tight dark turtleneck. Star Daniel Craig gives his icy blue-eyed lethal stare, gripping his Walther PPK and standing with his legs spread just wide enough for it to be a bit unusual (and is “Coming Soon” rather strategically placed?).

Craig joins returning actors Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes. Plus Spectre adds newcomers Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Andrew Scott and Léa Seydoux. The film premiere Nov 6.
We can’t help be reminded of Archer and the FX’s spy’s use of his signature turtleneck. As Archer famously endorsed: “I didn’t invent the turtleneck, Lana, but I was the first to recognize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck, Lana. The…tactleneck!”
