[Spoiler alert: If you haven’t watched the finale of HBO’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst yet, stop reading NOW.]

HBO’s The Jinx came to a close last night with a ‘whoops’ moment for the ages. In the final minutes of the show’s finale, director Andrew Jarecki presented a telling piece of evidence to subject (and suspected serial murderer) Robert Durst. But after a couple of shrugs, burps, and the shaking of hands, it seemed any sort of confession was off the table.

That is, until Durst proceeded to the bathroom, microphone still on—and muttered what amounts to his own demise.

The creepiest part? When strung together, Durst’s confession sounds like a free-verse poem that’s sure to send chills down your spine.

Read the full transcription of the hot mic moment below, and check out Jeff Jensen’s full review of the finale here.

There it is

You’re caught

You’re right, of course

But, you can’t imagine

Arrest him

I don’t know what’s in the house

Oh, I want this

What a disaster

He was right

I was wrong

And the burping

[Noise]

I’m having difficulty with the question

What the hell did I do?

[Noise]

Killed them all, of course.

And that, my friends, is how Robert Durst went from 100 to 0… real quick.
