Kate Middleton visits 'Downton Abbey' set
Fictional lords and ladies are nothing out of the ordinary for Downton Abbey, but today the show’s set at Ealing Studios got a visit from a real-life duchess. Kate Middleton visited the set, making stops to see how props, costumes, and filming comes together.
She also interacted with both upstairs and downstairs castmembers, like Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Kevin Doyle, and Raquel Cassidy.
And, in arguably the most adorable photo from her trip, the actor that plays Lady Mary’s son George gifted Middleton with a wooden train for her own Prince George.
The war is over, but intrigue, crisis, romance, and change still grip the beloved estate.
