Last night, it was announced that the next Bachelorette is … two women? After much debate amongst the fans of Bachelor nation, both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson were named Bachelorette. It’s never been done before in the show’s history, so the natural next step was that both women would talk to Jimmy Kimmel about the new development.

Kimmel, a huge Bachelor fan, appeared on the show twice this season, co-hosting an episode in which he had dinner with Kaitlyn and Bachelor Chris Soules, and appearing on last night’s After the Final Rose Special to give the happy couple—Chris and Whitney—a cow. Because why not?

But when Kaitlyn and Britt appeared on Kimmel’s show, they were the ones doing the giving. Their gift? A good old-fashioned breakup (complete with a slap).

The new season of The Bachelorette begins Monday, May 18.
