It looks like Miley Cyrus is hard at work for a follow-up to 2013’s Bangerz. The pop star posted a “candid” Instagram clip on Sunday of her in the studio, belting out something that would encourage neither twerking nor a beat that bangz.

“Why do people only show forgiveness when they want to sound cool in a song?” Cyrus poses, before sheepishly turning to whoever’s recording the process. From what can be heard, the production is markedly mellower than “We Can’t Stop” and even “Wrecking Ball,” and… that’s about all that can be discerned in 15 seconds. As of January, the 22-year-old claimed she was working on her new album “every day” at her house, wanting to “get this stuff out ASAP,” via Entertainment Tonight.
