Co-stars, friends, and fans have flocked to Twitter to honor Leonard Nimoy, most remembered for his portrayal of Spock in the Star Trek franchise. Nimoy died at his home in Los Angeles on Friday. He was 83 years old.

The talented actor was nominated for four Emmys throughout the course of his long career, three of which were for his work on Star Trek. Nimoy also directed, stepping behind the camera for both Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
