Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece countdown continued Tuesday with the release of the album’s title track. The artist debuted the song on Twitter, calling it the “most personal” track on the album, which will be released on Feb. 27.

From the first-person perspective, Clarkson sings about being a daughter who’s been abandoned by her father—he leaves when she’s 6 years old, wants to come back to only to revel in her success, and works up to the chorus: “Piece by piece, he restored my faith that a man can be kind and a father could stay.” She later reflects on her new role as a mother, singing, “I will never leave her like you left me/ She will never have to wonder her worth/ Because unlike you, I’m gonna put her first.”

The song is currently available for purchase in iTunes.
