Wesley Snipes has joined the cast of NBC’s drama pilot Endgame, EW has confirmed.

The drama is set in the high stakes world of Las Vegas, where a former sniper turned security expert (Philip Winchester) is drawn into a mysterious conspiracy that forces him to complete a series of heroic challenges in order to save innocent lives.

The Blade trilogy alum will play Johnson, the pit boss for The Game. An unflappable guy with a dry sense of humor, Johnson keeps his eye on the big picture, but is capable of cleaning up a mess when things spiral out of control. The series would mark Snipes’ first foray into television.

The Librarians’ John Rogers will write and executive-produce with The Blacklist’s John Fox and John Davis.
