Even as he was hosting the Tonys in 2011, Neil Patrick Harris joked about how he hadn’t yet hosted the Oscars. Hugh Jackman—who had helmed the Academy Awards already—gently teased Harris about this “deficiency” before the two broke out into song and dance. Come Sunday, though, Harris will put that final jewel in his hosting crown. He won’t quite have a hosting EGOT—but he’ll be pretty darn close. (In the meantime: Watch out, LL Cool J.)

Within the last seven years, Harris has become practically synonymous with awards show hosting. So in honor of him finally getting to the Oscars, we ranked the Emmy winner’s best-known stints from (relative) worst to first.

9. World Magic Awards (2008)
