Adam Sandler repairs shoes, makes a difference in 'The Cobbler'
Adam Sandler takes the old saying “walk a mile in another man’s shoes” literally in the trailer for his new film, The Cobbler. Sandler plays Max Simkin, a fourth-generation shoe repairman who is able to become the man whose shoes he is repairing by slipping them on his own feet. The opportunity gives him the chance to make a real difference in his community (and maybe a few extra perks in his love life).
The Cobbler also stars Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, Ellen Barkin, and Melonie Diaz. It was written and directed by Thomas McCarthy. The film hits theaters on March 13.
