Miles Teller joins Jonah Hill in 'Arms and the Dudes'
Miles Teller will be teaming up with Jonah Hill for the 2016 Warner Brothers film Arms and the Dudes.
Arms and the Dudes is the story of two unlikely arms dealers who landed a $300 million contract to be weapon suppliers for U.S. allies in Afghanistan. The movie is based off a 2011 Rolling Stone article by Guy Lawson titled, “The Stoner Arms Dealers: How Two Amercian Kids Became Big-Time Weapons Traders.”
Teller will play David Packouz, a licensed massage therapist in Miami who joins Efraim Diveroli (Hill) in the international arms-dealing business. There was buzz about Teller filling this role in December, with Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf also being rumored for the part. No specific date for the film’s release has been set.
