The Oscars have announced that yet another star will be a part of the ceremony in a yet-to-be-revealed manner. Producers announced today that Dreamgirls Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is set to perform at the ceremony.
“We’re creating several musical sequences for the Oscars and we couldn’t be happier that our friend, Jennifer Hudson, will be performing in one of them,” producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement.
Jack Black and Anna Kendrick have also been tapped to take part in unspecified Oscar performances. Meanwhile, host Neil Patrick Harris, known for his singing and dancing awards-show antics, will take part in a number written by the songwriting team behind Frozen.
