Jane the Virigin is continuing to hold onto its post-Golden Globes ratings bump and now has put another notch in its belt: The acclaimed CW dramedy’s Monday night episode scored higher ratings than its lead-in The Originals for the first time.

Jane had 1.4 million viewers and a 0.6 rating among adults 18-49, and the vampire spin-off had 1.2 million and a 0.5 rating. Jane‘s series premiere previously had more viewers than The Originals, but this is the first time Jane has also delivered more adults 18-49 (as well as adults 18-34) than its opening act. Plus, Jane matched its own demo series high in the process.

A few other notes from Monday night: Fox’s Gotham (5.6 million, 1.8 in the demo) slipped this week as it hurriedly assured its introducing the Joker soon. Sleepy Hollow (3.9 million, 1.2) continued to struggle. ABC’s Bachelor (8.6 million, 2.7) rose and ranked as the night’s top-rated show. NBC’s State of Affairs (4 million, 1.0) didn’t help its renewal odds.
