'Fortune' takes a peek inside the $25,000 Grammy gift lounge
So what exactly do you get for free when you are Beyonce, Katy Perry, or Kanye West? $25,000 worth of just about anything and everything you could imagine, apparently.
Los Angeles marketing company Distinctive Assets put together this year’s Grammy gift lounge, which included items from $1,140 Gibson guitars down to a tube of Carmex that typically retails for about $1.59. There were even toys for the littlest people in music like Blue Ivy Carter and North West. The most expensive item of the bunch was a luxury train trip through the western Canadian mountains, ticketed at $14,584.
