Anna Kendrick will be doing something at the Oscars ceremony. (Bets are on singing.) Kendrick announced on Twitter that The Academy has invited her to “be part of a special performance” at the ceremony. In a statement, Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said, “Out of the woods and on to the Oscar stage, Anna will be performing something special that is sure to be an ‘Only on the Oscars’ moment.”

Kendrick has been making good use of her impressive pipes as of late starring in Into the Woods and the soon to be released The Last 5 Years. She’s also appearing in Pitch Perfect 2, due out in May.

Jack Black is also set to perform in what is being deemed a “very special sequence.”
