Jason Statham and The Rock go toe-to-toe in new 'Furious 7' trailer

During the Super Bowl, the Furious 7 trailer gave fans a taste of some of the big stunts awaiting them when they catch up with Dom and his family—namely, jumping between buildings in a car. But in a new trailer for the film, we get a closer look at some of the more personal fights, along with the introduction of Kurt Russell.

Furious 7 follows the crew as they’re being hunted by Owen Shaw’s older brother, Deckard, a special-forces assassin better known as Jason Statham. And in the new trailer, a Statham-versus-The Rock brawl ends in an explosion that seemingly puts The Rock in the hospital. Add in a bit more footage of Michelle Rodriguez and Ronda Rousey fighting in floor-length gowns, and you’ve got plenty to hold you over until April.

As Dom says in the trailer, “This time it ain’t just about being fast.” So let’s be furious then, shall we?
