Suge Knight was arrested on suspicion of murder Jan. 29 in Compton, Calif. after running over two bystanders in a hit-and-run that left one man dead. Although he was originally jailed on bail, homicide detectives petitioned the bail commissioner Monday morning to hold Knight on no bail. The petition was successful, according to Deputy Amber Smith.

Smiths says the detectives wanted to revoke the option of being released on bail “due to Knight being a possible flight risk, a three-strikes candidate, possible witness intimidation issues, and his criminal past.” The rap mogul will appear in court Tuesday.
