'Pitch Perfect 2' Super Bowl trailer features 'Before He Cheats'

The Pitch Perfect 2 trailer gave fans a taste of the sequel’s take on the “riff off,” featuring Anna Kendrick singing Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” and the Green Bay Packers. Yes, the Bellas are just as confused as you are. The football players sing “Bootylicious.” As EW‘s Tim Stack reported, the “riff off” in this film occurs at the mansion of David Cross’ character, an “a cappella aficionado.”

The sequel finds the Barden Bellas heading to a cappella world championships. “There’s going to be some haters out there,” Rebel Wilson’s Fat Amy says in the new trailer. “They are going to look at us, Team USA, and be like, why is the most talented one Australian?”
